Wedding is the time which everybody wants to capture and store as the most precious moments of one’s life. As mentioned by everywhere, it’s a lifetime opportunity and experience, the memories of which define the eternity of the husband- wife relation. These photos are too strong and descriptive, that they have the power to take the person back to his wedding venue and recreate all the beautiful memories in his mind once again. The majesticity of the wedding album is also felt by the person who has not attended the marriage; he or she, sometimes actually regrets their reason for not attending the marriage.

Taking the photograph is in itself is a great art, which needs a lot of creativity and experience for the person to actually implement or practice his profession in a marriage. Photography is also divided into different fields and forms, according to which the styles and methods of photography vary, and there are different professionals for each field of photography. Same ways, wedding photography is a separate profession and experts are preferred to hire for the wedding photography. Immature or freshers, if hired can prove to be dangerous for the wedding album, as they don’t know the techniques and intricacies of the procedures involved.

Wedding video is another form, by which one can store D- moments of his life, step by step, each and every minute as it is. It’s an invention of science, which has proved to be a blessing for the marriage ceremonies. The marriages now – a- days are fully loaded with celebration and dances, the times which witnesses the largest gathering in a family function.

Here are some of the factors which should be kept in mind, while clicking wedding photos:

The wedding album should start with the photos of the bride and the groom, which are always clicking their traditional manners. Though some changes take place, with time in the creativity and the form in which these pictures are taken and presented, but the cultural values and ethnicity of the wedding photos remain same.

These days’ people spend a lot of money in the venue of the marriage especially at marriages in India, so they want that the beauty of and the uniqueness of the place should be covered in the video or the wedding photos in the album.

A lot of importance is also given on the dresses of the groom and the bride; a lot of close up shorts of the bridal and the groom make-up are captured to keep them alive in the wedding photos

The use of flash, different lenses, camera body, zooms, should be done in a proper manner to improve the quality of the photo and add creativity and personal style to the wedding photos. Each wedding photographer has his own specialty and style, which can be seen in his work in the wedding albums.

Catching some humour moments, which are also the traditional customs or rituals in Indian weddings, is the main thing one wants. The bride or the groom always looks for the best moments, the traditions, which won’t be performed by them, any further in their life time, so such rituals and practices are a must to capture.

Excellent technical knowledge of photography can make a person good photographer. Also immense interest and practise needs to be done by the photographer to understand the minutest details of the profession.

The beauty of the wedding photos or the album should be such, that, moments, like, should make bride and her relatives cry again, when they see those pictures. Such should be the majesty of the photos; originality and creativity are the fundamentals, following which one can become successful in making a happy wedding album.

Wednesday will not go down as one of the very best. It kicked off with a terrible dose of man flue and in hindsight am astounded I managed to come through at all. The day didn’t improve much as I then spent what felt like an endless time driving around Northampton General Hospital hopelessly struggling to park so that my 5 year old could turn up at his hearing test appointment on time. Still I had at least one aspect of my day to look forward too, attending my local universities photography course open day, more precisely I’d been promised a hands on demonstration by Hasselblad’s area sales team of their current saliva inducing digital camera line up, the H4D series.
And what a genuinely amazing piece of kit this camera is, like all cameras brandishing the Hasselblad emblem previous, it simply oozes quality. The Rolls-Royce of cameras, the grade that all other makers must chase etc etc etc’… but I’ve no desire to create a review. The issue that has continuously frustrated me for many years now (and judging by the photographers I met at the event I’m not the only one) is this apparent mega pixel race we all seem to unwittingly be trapped in. This bizarre and down right delusional obsession with the pixel count as a measure of the caliber of a camera and so consequently the photographer.

This isn’t as an assault on any one individual camera maker, at least Hasselblad aim their cameras at high end professionals whom might at least sometimes employ all those 60 megapixels on a billboard poster or something as equally huge, all camera producers are at it! When did you last shoot a 48 or 96 sheet poster? When did you last do a print larger than say A4? In fact when did you last do a print at all?

I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot for customers that have demanded billboard posters and exhibited in galleries with huge prints all whilst shooting under the acute gaze of top London art directors. After taking a breather from the demanding world of advertising but still often shooting commercially where the paramount quality is assumed, I’m seldom if ever asked to shoot a job that will be printed anything bigger than an A4 spread in a brochure. In fact I took a brief look at my previous years commercial campaigns and can say that a healthy 75% of this work will not even go to print at all and will spend its days destined to be looked at on your common desk top personal computer screen at a measly 72dpi.

After shooting on just about every type and size of camera format over the years from a bog standard 35mm negative to a beautiful 10×8 transparency I now opt to shoot on a paltry 12 mega pixel DSLR, except of course when the job requests a specifically bigger file size. Guess what? I’ve never had any problems or concerns about the image quality! What I have to do is use all my experience and understanding acquired from years of photographic training and work experience together with the unique ‘eye’ I’ve developed as a result, to capture files that are of a commercially appealing quality. The message I’m seeking to hammer home is that these shots would be no better.

I keep threatening to update my kit, or rather keep getting seduced by skillful marketing ploys into assuming I need to update my camera gear, but the straightforward fact is I really don’t need to. Picture quality is not dictated by pixel count or more precisely file size, that is a fact. There are countless challenges affecting the excellence of the final photo not least the actual expertise of the bloke pressing the shutter. If you take a moment to really think about past photographs that have really had an impact then I doubt very much whether many of those shots were shot using what we would now call a top spec camera, even a fairly moderate modern DSLR is capable of truly quite amazing image quality.

Digital cameras have grown to be quite breathtaking in the amount of bang you get for your buck and have served as a great leveller in the way that photography is no longer just a rich mans hobby. Chose your camera system (don’t agonize), acquire a couple of reasonable books and then get out there and play with it. Try to dismiss those elitist camera nerds you’ll see on any online forum and definitely dismiss the self serving camera manufacturers pleas that bigger is better, its not!

Black and white photography has a different lighting than color photography. Black and white will bring out contrasts in pictures. It focuses on texture, shadows, and also framing than color. These aspects should be emphasized on focusing the lighting. Black and white photography expresses a timeless and mysterious quality. This is the reason why it is favored by wedding photographers, artist, and even journalist.

Features

You can use a “golden hour” to make more dramatic black and white pictures. This is happened in an hour after sunrise and an hour before sunset. In golden hour, the sun is close to the horizon and the lights are long. It makes the light visible soft and the shadow is getting intense. This delivers contrasts between dark and light part of the pictures. These shadows that used creatively will bring out the illusion of strength and texture in black and white photography.

Function

The best lighting technique that used in black and white photography of wide shots is to use harsh light. It can be found outside in the middle of the day. This will make the color photography will be worst, but it does not work in black and white photography. It does wonderful things for black and white. When the sun is high, the shadows will be more intense. It can make the object jump out of black and white photographs. For example, a photograph of a forest with intensive shadows defines each tree and will make the photograph appear more three dimensional. You can also create this type of lighting indoors with shining bright key lights trough the subjects at an angle. It also can be done in color photography by removing the shadows.

Effects

Taking black and white photograph straightly into the light can create dramatic silhouette effects. The object that is placed in front of the light source will spread an intense shadow. This effect is far more obvious in black and white than color. Subjects that are known by their shape are good for black and white background lighting. Those subjects consist of towers, obviously formed building, trees, and also people.

Consideration

You have to consider using filters in producing dramatic effects in your black and white photography. Some people may think that it is contradictory, but by removing particular color light can create more contrast in your black and white photograph. Red and yellow will make the effect looks look light while red, yellow, and orange filters make blue look darker. If you take a picture of the sky by using these filters will make the clouds jump out at you. Green filters will make the red color darker and green will make the picture look lighter.

Pixel can be a small block of information that when they are displayed together form a picture. Can not thousands or even millions of photos. The term “pixel” is for “picture element” short. Each pixel carries information about color, appears as light, and the power of color. Definition of the functions that they can get more technical, but I’m still very simple here. It is among the millions of pixels in an image, the human eye can not see them as individuals. When they were all together, we see them as continuous tones, or the actual image.

Dictate pixel resolution. This is to see how many details we do. The simplest example of how much the image when enlarged. The more pixels in the image, the higher the resolution. The resolution is measured in pixels per inch, or ppi. 300 ppi is standard for most cameras. Standard PC monitor to a different pixel. For Windows is 72ppi. For Mac 96ppi. So if you take pictures and want to know him only for computer screens and do not use the printer, you can connect the camera with a resolution much lower and still a great picture for your screen.

Pixel size determines the maximum extension of print quality.
Let’s say you shoot at 300ppi.

A 3-megapixel camera give you a good print 5×7 or smaller.

A 6-megapixel camera give you a good print 8×10 or smaller.

A 10-megapixel camera give you a good print 13×8 or smaller.

These are all approximate. This information can be useful if you select the camera. This will also help you, the size of the extension is the best picture without having a quality.

Many lens filters in a digital society is now redundant. Most of the camera and / or processing tools are now also features post to correct the white balance, for softening or for various special effects. But there are some features that simply do not reproduce without the use of filters. Here we give an overview of the key, which must filter every photographer, to learn and use.

Lens with Filter

Small filters can be placed outside of the lens and gives the effect of strengthening or fun. Filters have their hay day, when people where still pictures with film. Digital Imaging at the time not so very far, and we use different filters to obtain the desired effect instead.

For this reason, many associate the use of the filter with a clear image manipulation. But the most common filters do not provide the results of such drastic. They are only used to enhance the individual effects, such as the phenomena of light.

Here are a few frequent Lens Filter:

UV filter

UV filter to improve color reproduction, and prevents blurring caused by ultraviolet radiation. Ultraviolet light is invisible to the eye and is very common when taking pictures under a cloudy sky, mountains, coastal areas and areas with very clear air. UV filters that are not colored and does not require an extension of the duration of exposure. It is recommended that UV filter permanently on the lens as a protective filter is mounted

When you install these filters on the lens, is the actual filter dust and scratches forever. It is much cheaper to replace the filter if you scratch or damage, rather than replacing the entire lens.

With the use of UV filters, it is important to remember that the glass-filter must be at least as good quality as the lens. If not, then deteriorates the image quality.

Polarizer

A polarizing filter is probably the best known and used by all filters, and not without reason. Filter works much like when a pair of sunglasses in front of the lens. Elimination of reflection, glass, gloss and surface water, so you pictures of what to take from behind a window or under water, not a complete reflection surface. Polarizing filter also contribute to more contrast and more saturated colors, and this can obscure the sky, which is especially useful when shooting landscapes. Polarizing filters work, but only if you are photographing the subject from the point, not exactly. This means that you are right in front of the window and fired, the filter can not eliminate the reflection in the glass. Please make sure that you always from the corner to shoot.

ND (Neutral Density) filter

Gray filter or a neutral density filter, to images with long exposure times or large holes, in very sunny situations. This is because the amount of light emitted by the lens increases. This is useful when, for example, to photograph waterfalls still want in the afternoon, but want to smooth the effects of moving water. They are available in different strengths, depending on how much light is blocked.

Another possibility is the conclusion of ND filter. These filters go from dark to light, with smooth or good sharp transition. This filter is used, for example, if the foreground and background of the different exposures. An example is when you’re shooting a little dark under a clear sky. With a graduated ND filter, you will be able to properly implement the darker parts of images without exposing the bright parts are overexposed.

They are also used to reduce the image contrast. At sunrise to, you need the sun a bit to show the details in other areas of the image, dim. There were also, with alternating colors, which can be used for special effects evaluated. Orange or brown version of heaven can offer the atmosphere in the picture.

Candid Photo is when people are photographed in natural or forced way and can not recognize the camera. Being prepared is important – take your camera with time and have it ready for use. Given the opportunity to subscribe to occur when the light is low, it can and there was no time for flash, or when the flash can be annoying, try a medium speed film like ISO 200 or 400

If you take pictures quickly and the issue still in a position to establish whether you shoot from a different perspective that you better can can. Even if the people who moved away to everything you will still have the first shot important, but the possibilities for improvement are usually available. Perhaps the best lens to use 80-300mm zoom lens. This means that images can be framed in such a manner to be undesirable plants in detail. This also means that you can come close to the subject from a distance, without having to change lenses. This way you can work secretly without a disability, the person or persons and damage to the spontaneity of the situation. Snapshots often in sight, movement or position of the person who made the shot.

This is an advantage to have TTL metering, Spot metering devices should be. This means the reading can be taken from the face of the subject and you will expose for skin tones. If the person against a white wall or a light reflective background, and then there is the danger meter underexposure if the average reading because of the background to give the most light.

One thing many people do not think if taking a photo is the last image is displayed. Deliberately framed to break and rearrange the elements in the viewfinder before the shot will generally produce a better final image.

Just think, make pictures, as seen, all the elements visible in the viewfinder as a part, and then they put together to form one of fun. Think about what you wanted to see the viewer (s), and then display the best route to the main topic.

Also decide whether the camera should be vertically or horizontally to hold a broken lock and key. If you have photos of a person in front of you, it is best to keep the camera in vertical position. If not, you will be too much empty space on each side of the picture. On the other hand, if you are a group or a landscape, it is usually better to hold the camera in a horizontal position. You will be more than fill the frame with the main subject .

Now we want to make the third rule. This rule was to be used by artists and photographers over the years.

Break in applying the rule of thirds, mentally to the camera viewfinder into 9 separate areas. Do this by two imaginary horizontal lines in the viewfinder. One-third comes from the top down and third from the bottom. Then the image of two vertical lines in the viewfinder. A row is the third from the left, the other is the third from the right.

If, according to the rules of thirds, it is recommended that the main theme of the checkboxes in the city are generally in the areas of the frame where the horizontal and vertical lines. The research shows that the eye naturally falls on a cross. This also works for more than one subject in the frame, as you can present at various intersections within the framework and will continue to work on it. This method gives the visual effect is better than your topic in the middle frame.

Another way to improve the composition to be used on the front. This is easily done through the use of elements that you created in the viewfinder, such as roads or bridges help to make the eye of the beholder to a certain area of the image. Viewer’s eye will automatically follow the line for the subject or focus.

This is not cut and dried rules, but it was good to learn and know. They work very well in a variety of images. Even if you do it in conjunction with your creativity, you still have the picture turned out fine.

Choosing a digital camera can be very unusual, with all models in the market. Search for the best match of the Canon zoom lens can be daunting, but very possible.

If thinking to decide which lens Canon interests you, the whole point of a camera with interchangeable lenses, the zoom lens, you can measure what you need. In contrast to simple point and shoot with non removable lens, you are not integrated at the factory where the camera is limited. Secondly, each person has different needs and budgets. So you want is usually not a lens, so that you are the lens or lenses to choose the right one for you, not a general lens. Thirdly, what happens if you buy a different camera? Then you have the same two lenses.

There are three categories of Canon zoom lens when it comes to how many scenes they can get, and the sight of each species is defined by the optical property known as the lens focal length.

A so-called normal lens to be addressed on perspective, although not large, a scene viewed by a human eye. By convention, the normal lens on a 35mm camera (and thus full-frame digital SLR EOS) has a focal length of 50 mm or more. Before taking a normal lens as well as to see the images up close but not intimate, proximity to the subject, such as the waist-up pictures of people in ordinary rooms.

A wide angle lens can capture a scene in a big field. This has two general applications – first, it means you can view the display in landscape mode momentum to take, and secondly, you can take a large range of normal room. If you have a photo of a group of friends to a party to a wide angle lens, it must be unless you can back up far enough to receive all the in-camera, 35mm wide-angle lens focal length is, say, 35 mm or less.

Looking through a telephoto lens, like a telescope – it narrows what can be seen in a scene or make the subject appear closer than it really was. A telephoto lens is a focal length of 70 mm or more than 35mm cameras.

It may or may not be up with the idea that Canon zoom lens can be used as you want. Category, which I mentioned above, of course, huge, and there are big differences in the individual. Here you can choose, would be the lens for your shots will be suitable.

It is the art of obtaining accurate images of certain objects by undergoing chemical processes. Photography is the so-called skill of creating reality. According to Jean Luc Godard, photography is truth. The device used in creating or capturing the image desired is known as a camera. The creation made by photography is called negative or photograph.

The creation done by photography originally started in black and white form. This classic look has dominated for several decades due to its reasonable cost. Some photographers still use the ‘classic look’ that even with the advent of digital imaging, photos are sometimes processed using a variety of techniques just to generate a black and white effect.

Digital photography came in when new technological trends opened a new horizon for fresh artistic visions. With digital camera, one uses full spectrum photography. Photojournalism and professional photography were the first to enjoy the modern accents of digital photography. One only needs to use a little amount of time when transmitting images to the head office. While chemical photography uses film and photographic paper, digital imaging does not need any of this equipment. Digital photography only needs a controlling medium.
Traditional photography held back photographers assigned in remote areas because of the difficulty in obtaining access to processing facilities. In 1981, Sony uncovered the first consumer camera which saved images to disks and, therefore, eliminating the need for film.

From then on, digital photography has become a major consumer product in the world of photography, from Portland photographers in the north to those in Florida in the south, to the east and the west of the United States. However, a 2007 survey conducted by a major camera brand showed that a sizable number of professional photographers continue to use chemical photography which, to them, is still superior over other forms of photography.

It was in the 17th century when color photography started, although the first successful color processing facility was created in 1907. By 1963, the instant color film was introduced and, out of this novelty, photo printing equipment was introduced. While digital photography is a force to be considered, traditional techniques are still regarded as a wonderful learning experience for most photographers.

When you pose for a picture are you always looking directly at the lens? Do you find yourself looking stiff in the picture? There are many ways to pose for a picture in order to make it look natural instead of drawn up.
If everyone posed for a picture and they all looked really fake then who would want pictures? There are easy tips when posing for a picture that you should follow.

The first tip you need to follow is don’t always look at the camera, sometimes it is better to look past the camera or to a side. This will make the picture look like you have no idea the camera is even there. And this tip is easily done and doesn’t take any effort.

The second tip when posing for a picture is to change your facial expressions. If you always had the same smile or you always held your head the same way then the picture would look as if you were a mannequin. Mannequins don’t take very attractive pictures so do everyone a favor and change your facial expressions.

The third tip when posing for a picture is when sitting sit upright. Nobody wants to see someone who is slouched over in every picture. When people slouch over it makes them look lazy and mad. Would you buy a picture of someone who looked mad but had a smile? I wouldn’t.

So remember the next time you are getting ready to pose for a picture that not every picture needs to see your entire face from the same side all the time.
